Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ASTORIA – The Chian Federation’s Board of Directors and Ionian Medal of Honor Committee announced on March 21 that Senator Robert Menendez will be awarded the 3rd Ionian Medal of Honor on Saturday, May 20, at 6:30 PM. The senator is being recognized for his many years of service to the United States and for promoting Greek-American relations.
The Ionian Medal of Honor is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves in their fields and showcased exceptional leadership in the areas of public service and social progress. The Chian Federation previously bestowed this honor on only two other individuals: His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew and George P. Livanos, Founder of the Chian Federation.
