Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
NEW YORK – The National Herald’s Co-Editor and Publisher Eraklis Diamataris hosts a live interview with Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) today, July 29, 2 PM, via Zoom on Facebook Live.
The discussion will focus on Greece, Cyprus, and other significant foreign policy issues. Sen. Menendez is the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a well-known Philhellene. He was among the many elected officials to comment in a joint statement with Republican Senator Jim Risch of Idaho on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s effort to convert the Aghia Sophia Museum of Istanbul from a world-famous cultural site into a mosque.
Sen. Menendez also participated in the recent PSEKA event commemorating the 46th somber anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus and once again voiced his support for the reunification of Cyprus.
