Scaros’ Article, ‘Ronna McDaniel and Nicole Shanahan Deserve Better’ – Name Calling, Convoluted Thinking

April 20, 2024
By William Tragos

He starts out by calling NBC, NBCstan after they dropped Ms. McDaniel because of pressure from their “clown journalists Chuck Todd, Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Jen Psaki.”

Surprisingly, he doesn’t mention Nicole Wallace, who like Psaki, has Greek blood and was a Republican campaign manager.

Clowns? As compared to Fox’s Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartoromo, Jeanine Piro, or Jesse Watters?

Scaros claims that McDaniel “neither said or did anything to get her in trouble.” Really? She only told her party’s operatives in the swing states not to ratify the electoral outcome and would cover any legal bills.

He sarcastically adds that her “great sin” was that she said “there were problems with the 2020 elections that needed to be fixed for 24”.

What problems, Mr. Scaros? Anything that doesn’t happen in every election by a few people who violate our laws and are usually caught?

Just as Trump was caught badgering Brad Raffensberger, Georgia’s Secretary of State, to find him 11,000 votes.

The Under Secretary of Homeland Security, Republican Chris Krebs, claims 2020 was the most secure election in our history.

Mr. Scaros grudgingly agrees that Biden won in 2020, “despite the Democrats’ dirty tricks,” but that was before his “cognitive skills had not yet diminished.“ Biden has a stutter, that’s a tongue problem not a cognitive one. I guess Scaros has no problem deciphering Trumps ramblings.

I’d love to sit in on those classes where he teaches about the Bush/Gore election of 2000. Mr. Gore conceded the day after the Supreme Court’s decision and Hillary Clinton conceded the day after  the 2016 election was called.

Wonder if he draws any comparisons to what we are going through today, almost four years later?

And I’m curious to see if Mr. Scaros worries about Mr. Trump’s Putin infatuation, encouraging Russia to do whatever the hell she wants to our NATO allies – or openly sabotaging our aid to Ukraine. And doing the same with the border immigration agreement which some Republicans say is the best we have ever been able to put together. One Senator, Lankford of Oklahoma even had the courage to mouth: “That’s true,”

when Biden claimed that in his State of the Union Speech.

I’m hopeful that Mr. Scaros doesn’t agree with the former president’s view of immigrants: Our great grandfathers, grandfathers, fathers didn’t ruin the blood of this country, they made it richer.

Mr. Scaros knows this isn’t a new found notion, but one engrained in the man’s psyche, it seems. Go back seven years when Trump was president and said there were good people on both sides of the Charlottesville riots.

But only one side chanted ”Jews will not replace us.”

Perhaps Mr. Scaros forgets that there but for the grace of God, and the fact that Greeks are less numerous, and thus less visible, they could have chanted: “Greeks will not replace us.”

Because like Jews, Greeks have achieved much.

Hate has no boundaries.
