Sakorafa: International Law Is One of Our Strongest Cards

October 29, 2020

ATHENS — "The issue of international law is one of our strongest cards and we should promote it in all the fora" said opposition MeRA25 representative Sophia Sakorafa on Thursday, after being briefed by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on the latest developments.

"I would like to point out that the minister has briefed us many times and this we consider one of the very positive points in terms of issues of foreign policy," Sakorafa said.

As she said, Dendias briefed her on the agreement with Albania along with a detailed briefing on the issues he discussed with the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, during his recent visit to Athens. "The important thing is that they agreed on the 12 nautical miles if international law is upheld," Sakorafa underlined.
