Sakellaropoulou: Best Response to Turkish Provocation Is to Highlight Greece as a Country of Creativity

ATHENS – The best response to continuous provocations by Turkey is to highlight Greece's profile as a country of creativity, equality before the law, and respect of human rights where the state of law prevails, President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou said in Thrace, which she has been touring since Thursday.

"Thrace is a living example of how Christian and Muslim citizens can live together in peace and work for their common future," Sakellaropoulou said.

The president has been visiting institutions and political and church leaders in the NE prefecture. She has also visited major producer and export companies, and women's collaborative businesses, among others.
