Saint Demetrios Golf Outing Benefits Greek Language School

UPPER DARBY, PA – The second annual Golf Outing benefiting the Greek Language School of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Upper Darby was held on June13 and was once again a huge success. The day would not have been possible without the support of the tireless volunteers, generous sponsors, participating golfers and Llanerch Country Club. The response and interest in participating exceeded expectations and the organizers are forever grateful to those that contributed their time and money. The funds raised will be directed to maintaining and improving the community’s beloved Greek Language School that consistently excels thanks to the wonderful teachers, principal, Father Gregory Gilbert, the PTA, and volunteers. In addition, the event was an opportunity to bring the extended community together. The organizers are looking forward to hosting next year’s outing and spending another great day with family and friends.
