Russian FM : Unilateral Actions, Force Re: Cyprus is Inadmissible

the Russian Foreign Ministry declared on Thursday that “Unilateral actions and demonstration of force in the Cypriot settlement are inadmissible and fraught with aggravating the situation in Cyprus and in the East Mediterranean region. The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a press release following a meeting between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexey Meshkov and Cypriot presidential special envoy Sotos Zackheos,” ” CNA reported.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Russian-Cypriot relations and possible prospects for their development in different fields,” the ministry said.
