Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Registered unemployment fell 3.2% or by 35,068 persons in February compared with the same month last year, and was down 1.5% in comparison with January 2023, official figures showed on Monday.

Among the country’s regions, Attica and Central Macedonia recorded the biggest number of unemployed (332,422 or 30.9%) and 201,369 or 18.7%, respectively).
The number of people receiving unemployment benefit reached 239,196 in February, of which 106,013 were men and 133,183 women.
