Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
HEMPSTEAD, NY – Raffle tickets are available for this year’s Gala Sweepstakes at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Paul, 110 Cathedral Avenue in Hempstead.
The deadline for ordering raffle tickets online is 12 midnight on Saturday, November 7. Tickets ordered online after the deadline date will not be entered into the November 8 main drawing. Tickets can still be purchased in person at the church office on Friday, November 6 during normal business hours or from any Parish Council member up until the main drawing on Sunday, November 8.
The Cathedral’s annual sweepstakes was postponed following the cancellation of the Greek festival due to the COVID19 pandemic.
Raffle tickets are $100 each for a chance to win one of 50 valuable prizes, including the top four- vehicle leases for a Mercedes convertible, Porsche, Jeep Wrangler, and Ford Mustang.
