Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
A series of actions were held during the “Travel and Adventure Show” for the promotion of Paros and Elafonisos.
The popular travel fair was held from March 18 to March 20, 2022 in the US aiming at boosting travel traffic from the US. to Greece.
The award-winning fair gathers over 1,500,000 visitors in the nine US cities where it is organised. Despite restrictive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, the New York exhibition was a huge success, attracting more than 30,000 visitors.
The US market is particularly important for Greece after direct flights from various US cities, while even recent research has shown that tourists from this country are ranked in the first ranks in terms of Average Consumption Expenditure exceeding 3,000 dollars per person.
