President Sakellaropoulou Joined ‘Papanikolis’ Submarine Sailing

SALAMINA – President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou participated on Saturday in the scheduled sailing of the ‘Papanikolis’ submarine from the Salamina naval station to Piraeus port.

This was held in the context of the Hellenic Navy’s festive events for Agios Nikolaos, patron saint of seafarers and ships celebrated annually on December 6, and to commemorate Greece’s victorious naval battles in the Balkan Wars (1912-13).
