Pres. Anastasiades: Research and Innovation Can Generate Jobs in Cyprus

Nicos Anastasiades, President of Cyprus, noting that research and innovation in Cyprus have been incorporated in all areas of the Cypriot economy and get support from EU funds, emphasized that  promoting them can create jobs and increase productivity.

At at an event in Nicosia on Feb. 6 where Dr. Tasos Kounoudis was presented with the`Manolis Christofides“award, Anastasiades said “research and innovation are very important pillars of all EU policies for growth and competitiveness,” according to CNA.
