Pres. Anastasiades and Eroglu Meet

Michel Bonnardeaux,the Spokesperson for the Good Offices Mission in Cyprus, reported that the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot side have completed the submission of proposals on all issues related to efforts aiming at a comprehensive solution.

Nicos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus, and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu met on Thursday in the context of the UN-led talks. The UN Spokesperson said they exchanged views on confidence building measures and methodology.

They reportedly have instructed their negotiators to continue discussions in the hope that they will reach agreement on before the next scheduled meeting of the leaders on September 2, 2014.
