Poughkeepsie AHEPA Chapter 158 Recognizes High School Graduates

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Poughkeepsie AHEPA Chapter 158 recognized 10 high school graduates on June 12 at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church following the Divine Liturgy. A celebratory picnic was held after the ceremony.

Dimitrios Bakatsias is graduating from Highland High School as Salutatorian. He will be attending Stony Brook University majoring in Biology on a Pre-Medical Track. He has just received his Eagle Scout Award and his Associates Degree from Ulster Community College.

Evanthia Charlambous is graduating from Arlington High School. She will be attending Iona College majoring in Speech and Language Pathology.

Zoie Gauthier is graduating from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. She has not decided on her choice of college, but will be majoring in Art.

Nysa Greene is graduating from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. She has not decided on her choice of college, but will be majoring in Business.

Julia Kapogiannis is graduating from Roy C. Ketcham High School. She will be attending The Fashion Institute in New York City majoring Fashion Design.

Suleiman Nesheiwat is graduating from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. He will be attending SUNY New Paltz majoring in Biology Pre-Dental.

Angelo Salotto is graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes High School. He will be attending Sacred Heart University majoring in Exercise Science & Doctor of Physical Therapy (Combined Program).

Dimitri Simou is graduating from Arlington High School. He will be attending St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, FL majoring in Business Management.

Amanda Tsinias is graduating from Roy C. Ketcham High School. She will be attending SUNY Oneonta majoring in Psychology.

Zachary Vanikiotis is graduating from Arlington High School. He will be attending Manhattan College and majoring in Business.
