Poll: Bush Was More Competent than Obama

WASHINGTON, DC – A new poll conducted June 1-3 by the Democratic Anderson Robbins Research and the Republican Shaw & Company Research for Fox News revealed that more Americans find the Obama Administration less competent than the administrations of either Bill Clinton or George W. Bush.

A majority – 68% – find Obama’s administration less competent than Clinton’s and a plurality – 48% to 42% – less competent than Bush’s.

This the the first major poll that directly reveals a negative comparison to Bush for the Obama Administration, though other polls, not least of which standard bearer Gallup, consistently places Obama’s approval ratings below 50 percent; more Americans do not approve of his performance as president than those who do.
