BRUSSELS -- NATO welcomes "cooperation between allies", NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu said on Wednesday in a statement to public broadcaster ERT when asked about the Greece-France defence agreement.

In particular, she noted that "what matters to NATO is that this equipment is interoperable, that we can work together and operate in parallel. We welcome the cooperation between NATO allies on this issue."
