Police Arrest Man for Smuggling Migrants after High Speed Car Chase

Police said on Saturday they arrested a 33-year-old male on the Komotini national road for transporting four illegal immigrants.

The arrest took place after a high speed car chase when police motioned to the suspect to pull over for an inspection. The man sped away from police but authorities managed to catch up with him by blocking his car from escaping. The suspect then tried to escape by foot only to be caught by police
