PM Tsipras Announces Salary Raise for Public Schools Cleaning Staff

ATHENS – Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met on Thursday with public schools cleaning staff at the Maximos Mansion.

Tsipras announced a 10 pct raise in their salaries and their inclusion under heavy and hazardous professions.

In addition, he said that labour contracts they have signed with municipalities will be extended to a two-year duration.
