Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
MESSINIA — Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is touring the regions of Messinia and Arcadia on Monday, visited the port at Marathi, Messinia and was briefed on the fishing refuge development works that, according to regional governor Panagiotis Nikas, will be completed in the spring of 2022. Mitsotakis also visited a fish packing plant as well as a large greenhouse cultivation.
Earlier, Mitsotakis visited the agricultural cooperative "Eleonos" in Gargaliani (Messinia region).
Mitsotakis was briefed by the responsible of the cooperative on the operation and the production process.
The prime minister is accompanied by Rural Development Minister Spilios Livanos and the regional governor of the Peloponnese Panagiotis Nikas.
