PM Mitsotakis Participates in EPP Video Conference

ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis participated in a video conference of the European People's Party on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on Wednesday's EU-Western Balkans Summit video conference.

Mitsotakis thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, as his country was the first to express an interest in participating in the unaccompanied child refugees' programme.

Additionally, Mitsotakis reiterated that Greece supports the European prospect of the western Balkans, provided they meet specific conditions and requirements. Referring particularly to Albania, he noted that the neighbouring country has made progress while underlining that a lot more should be done in terms of protecting the rights of Albania's ethnic Greek minority and adherence to the rule of law.
