PM Mitsotakis on Measures to Bolster Foster Parenting

ΑΤΗΕΝS — Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis wrote about the significance of foster parenting and also noted new supporting measures being introduced, in a post on social media on Wednesday.

"Foster parenting takes children out of facilities and gives them a family, a better future," he wrote on Twitter. "It is an institution that we must strengthen in every way possible. This is why we support foster parents and adopt measures that boost foster parenting."

An infographic attached on his tweet includes plans raising a foster parenting benefit to 300-1,200 euros, and raising the age limits of foster parents.

Also mentioned in the tweet is the platform https://paidi.gov.gr/, which is dedicated to issues relating to children and includes foster parenting information.
