Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with visiting European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders at Maximos Mansion on Thursday.
Their meeting was held in the context of ongoing consultations between the European Commission and member states about issues relating to the Commission’s annual Rule of Law Report.
The Greek premier reiterated the government’s commitment to close cooperation with the European Commission, and he briefed Reynders on reforms and next steps in the areas of judicial and state policy reforms.
The latest developments in Ukraine were also discussed, with Mitsotakis reiterating Greece’s continued support to Ukraine, and underlining that Greece consistently applies the EU sanctions framework against Russia for its invasion in Ukraine.
Also attending the meeting were State Minister responsible for transport and infrastructure Giorgos Gerapetritis, the head of the prime minister’s diplomatic office Anna-Maria Boura, and alternate government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni.
