PM Mitsotakis Chairs Gov’t Meeting on Compensations to Flood-stricken Region of Karditsa

ATHENS – The restoration course of the damages and the compensations to the flood-stricken region of Karditsa was the issue of a broad government meeting on Saturday chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The prime minister underlined that there must be no delays to the compensations programme adding that the damages to infrastructures is an opportunity for an overall modernisation of the infrastructures in the region in order to further contribute in its economic development.

In the meeting participated Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, Justice Minister Konstantinos Tsiaras, State Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Deputy Interior Minister Theodoros Livanios, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister responsible for the coordination of the government's work Akis Skertsos, government spokesman Stelios Petsas, prime minister's general secretary Grigoris Dimitriadis and other officials.
