Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis attended a charity concert for Ukraine by Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos at the Athens Concert Hall on Thursday evening.
Kavakos was accompanied by Vassilis Varvaressos on piano, Ilias Ion Livieratos on viola, and Timothy Gavriilidis Petrin on cello.
“I would like to thank Leonidas Kavakos and his music collaborators for their very kind offer to organize this concert, the proceeds of which will be used for the reconstruction of the maternity hospital that was bombed in the city of Mariupol,” said Mitsotakis.
