Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
PHILADELPHIA – The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware hosted a luncheon on October 15 to introduce Consul General of Greece in New York Konstantinos Konstantinou and Consul of Greece in New York Dimitrios Papageorgiou to some members of the Federation. Federation president Georgia Chletcos welcomed them and noted that it was an honor to have them at the luncheon and welcomed the Consul General to his new post.
There was an opportunity for members to ask questions and have an open dialogue, and the Federation along with General Consul Konstantinou agreed that more opportunities to interact will happen in the future and that all are looking forward to a long relationship.
