Philip Christopher: It’s Time For US and UN To “Wise Up” About Turkey

Philip Christopher, President of the International Co-ordinating Committee “Justice for Cyprus” (PSEKA), has declared that it is time for the UN and the State Department “wise up” over Turkey`s role in Cyprus problem.

Christopher wrote in the Huffington Post that the UN and the State Department should remind themselves of the “outrageous statements and anti-western actions” of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The CNA reported that Christopher referred to “the clear support Turkey is giving to ISIL and other Islamic terrorists,” and that he noted “moreover that America and Israel`s long term interests dictate standing by Cyprus, a US ally, and to clearly show this support with deeds not just words.”
