BRUSSELS – The prospects for the participation of Greece and Greek defence companies in collaborations, synergies and partnerships at the European level were examined by National Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos, on the sidelines of his participation in the Foreign Affairs Council (Defence).
In a post on Facebook, Panagiotopoulos mentioned that he met “with the military representative of Greece to the EU, Vice-Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos, and the liaison of the Ministry of National Defence for PESCO-EDF affairs Vice-Admiral Theodoros Lagios”.
“I was informed”, the minister pointed out, “about the important processes taking place in the EU for the strengthening of European Defence structures (#EDA, #EDIDP, #PESCO, #EDF). We propose, we participate, we continue.”
