March 7, 2020

TORONTO – The Pan-Messinian Federation of USA and Canada, the University of Peloponnese, the Peloponnese Region, with the support of many municipalities, individuals and businesses, is organizing a summer school for young Greeks in Kalamata for the 15th consecutive year from Sunday, Jul. 12-Friday, Aug. 7.

It is a school that is unique to Hellenism in the diaspora. The goals of the school are to instill in the participants the love for our country, to enhance their Greek identity so that these young Greeks become ambassadors of Hellenism in their places of residence. The school program includes classes on learning Greek and Greek dances as well as visits to museums and archeological sites and fun activities (Greek nights, swimming in the sea).

Young persons of Greek origin aged 18-24 who wish to participate in the Greek Summer School in Greece should contact the organizers.

Participants pay only the airline ticket and a registration fee that covers tuition, accommodation at the University’s campus and two meals a day for the entire school period.
