Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – A pair of Turkish F-16s entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) without submitting flight plans and infringed Greece’s national airspace on Tuesday.
The Turkish fighter jets flew over the island of Kinaros at 33,000 feet at 10:26.
The Turkish F-16s were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter aircraft, according to international rules and standard practice.
