Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — Outgoing US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in a post on Twitter sent wishes to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife, referring to his last visit to Greece in late September, during which he was hosted at the Prime Minister's residence in Chania.

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias thanked outgoing US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for his warm words and "excellent cooperation", responding to his farewell post on Twitter.
"The tour of Crete, your home, was memorable. The work that the U.S. and Greece do together in the Eastern Med and elsewhere secures America’s freedom alongside that of the Greek people. Blessings to you and Maraeva Mitsotakis. And my counterpart, FM Dendias, is a spectacular pro," Pompeo posted on Twitter.
Dendias also thanked Pompeo "for his fundamental contribution to the promotion of bilateral ties between Greece and the United States at an unprecedented level."
