Opa! Greek Festival Will Put its Touch on Sydney Once Again

Melbourne is renowned for its Greek community but there’s plenty to do in Sydney, concentrated in a few neighborhoods with plenty of signs of the culture of the homeland as well as restaurants.
With the country trying to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, a touch of the Mediterranean is coming to Hope Estate in Hunter Valley May 22 with a Greek festival that is showcasing music, food, and drink.
Paired with the Greek Festival of Darling Harbour, the day will include national dancing troupes, Greek bands plus, direct from Macedonia in Greece, the well-known singer Dimitris Basis, set to be the highlight, said The Maitland Mercury.
Patrons can enjoy an Ouzo tasting and wine tasting included in every adult General Admission ticket, all set to the backdrop of Hope Estate's vineyards.
Unlike Greek Church festivals where there's no admission, this one will cost you though, ranging from 29-124.50 Australian Dollars ($22.37-$96.06).
The day will also feature demonstrations, a kids zone, boutique markets, and a range of Hope Brewery beers, with Delphi Bank as a sponsor.
