February 21, 2023

ATHENS – The online platform for submitting ‘Market Pass’ applications opened on Tuesday.

In this way, ‘Market Pass’ aims to alleviate the consequences that the increase in the consumer price index has brought to households.

“Beneficiaries are approximately 85% of Greek households,” government spokesman, Yiannis Economou, said on Monday during a press briefing.

The applications for the ‘Market Pass’ reached 32,000, early on Tuesday when the platform opened.

The voucher covers 85% of the population, Minister of Digital Governance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis underlined in his interview with ANT1.
