Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
WASHINGTON, DC – In Memoriam of Senator Paul Sarbanes of Maryland, an online event and panel discussion, will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 12 PM EST via Zoom.
Stratos Efthymiou, Consul General of Greece in Boston, will give the welcoming remarks and Michael Dukakis, former Governor of Massachusetts, will deliver the keynote address.
The event is co-organized by the Karamanlis Chair, the Initiative on Religion, Law, and Diplomacy; and the Institute of Eastern Mediterranean Studies.
The distinguished panelists scheduled to participate are: Peter Maroudas, Former Chief of Staff for Senator Sarbanes; Theodore Couloumbis, Professor Emeritus of the University of Athens;
Nick Larigakis, American Hellenic Institute President, Elizabeth Prodromou, Visiting Associate Professor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Director of the Fletcher Initiative on Religion, Law, and Diplomacy; and Petros Vamvakas, Associate Professor at Emmanuel College and Director of the Institute of Eastern Mediterranean Studies. The discussion will be chaired by Constantine Arvanitopoulos, Karamanlis Chair at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
