Oikonomou on Reopening of Corinth Canal

ATHENS – Government spokesperson Yiannis Oikonomou on Monday announced the reopening of the Corinth Canal from Monday and for three months in a post on Twitter.

“The first phase of the works at the Corinth Canal has been completed after the landslides and as of today, the Canal will open with complete safety for the next three months in order to serve that summer traffic,” he said in his tweet.
