Oikonomou Announces €16.91M for Fire Protection Actions

ATHENS – Government spokesperson Yiannis Oikonomou, in a tweet on Thursday, announced the distribution of 16.91 million euros to cover fire protection actions in Greek municipalities.

“With a plan, we strengthen fire protection,” he stressed.

“The amount of 16.91 million euros will be distributed from the central independent resources to the municipalities to cover fire protection actions, while the Attica municipalities associations will be subsidised with the amount of 1.49 million euros. With a plan, we strengthen the fire protection of the country in time,” he said.
