Official: 337 ICU Beds Currently Available for Use in Attica

ATHENS — Some 337 intensive care unit (ICU) beds are currently available for use in the Attica region at both public and military hospitals, professor Anastasia Kotanidou said on Wednesday on behalf of the Hellenic Intensive Care Society.

Of these, 107 are dedicated to use by potential Covid-19 patients, while another 42 special beds will be added to public hospitals in the next few days, she added.

A 30 pct of all ICU beds in Attica are currently available for use, while a 40 pct of ICU beds designated for Covid-19 cases are also available.
