Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – The largest exhibition of Greek wines in the world, the Oenorama, will open its doors on Saturday through Monday at the Zappeion Hall in Athens.
Winemakers from all over Greece and abroad will be represented this year at the annual Oenorama, which celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The exhibition has invited over 15,000 foreign buyers, many of whom are frequent attendees of the fair. This this year the far will serve as a hub destination for buyers from Asia and Europe, especially Poland and Belgium.
The exhibition will be open from 10:00 to 19:00 to all on Saturday and Sunday, and to professionals only on Monday.
Entrance is free for professionals provided they register (www.oenorama.com), while all other visitors must pay 12 euros, a ticket that includes a detailed guide and a complimentary glass of wine.
