Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday participated in the Quadrilateral Summit of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, which focused on an exchange of experiences in managing the coronavirus pandemic and finding ways to facilitate the cross-border trade, transport and movement.
During a video conference, the Greek premier underlined that Greece, like every other year, is expecting visitors from the Balkan countries.
According to sources, the country leaders also discussed the terms for the normalisation of cross-border tourism and transport, sectors that were hard hit by the health crisis and which are crucial for the economic recovery of countries in the region.
Special emphasis was placed on a mutual lifting of restrictive measures to allow the resumption of travel by entrepreneurs, workers and tourists.
Also participating in the Greek side's delegation were Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias, Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis, Deputy Civil Protection and Crisis Management Minister Nikos Hardalias, the head of the prime minister's diplomatic office Eleni Sourani, the head of the prime minister's economic bureau Alexis Patelis and infectious diseases' professor Sotiris Tsiodras.
