New NOTAM Issued for Thessaloniki’s Makedonia Airport

November 3, 2020

THESSALONIKI — Flights to and from Thessaloniki's Makedonia airport will be suspended until November 17 at 6:00 and not until midnight on the same day, according to a new NOTAM issued by Greece's Civil Aviation Authority on Tuesday.

The ban, imposed in the framework of measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, concerns both domestic and international flights.

The exceptions from the ban have also been expanded to include flights approved by the foreign ministry in collaboration with the CAA for the repatriation of foreign nationals and permanent residents of foreign countries and members of their families. The other exceptions in the NOTAM issued on November 2 continue to apply.
