New Highlights from Greek Cinema Come to New York

September 27, 2021

NEW YORK — A woman with a secret has lost her memory, but not her skill in the kitchen. A reclusive farmer in Northern Greece fights back against a mining company. A former Olympic diver embarks on an unexpected road trip.

Get swept up in the stories spun by recent gems from Greek cinema at the Hellenic Film Society USA’s New York Greek Film Expo, taking place October 1-10. Held in New York City at two theaters in Manhattan and Queens, the expo is open to people who have been vaccinated.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) provides support for the New York Greek Film Expo as part of its work sharing Hellenic culture around the world.
