New Candles from Cartoules Press Feature Scents to Transport You to Greece

November 17, 2020

LONG BEACH, CA – With the holiday season on its way, Greek-inspired gifts are always a great option.  especially when they also give back during these difficult times. Julie Karatzis, owner of Cartoules Press – a letterpress and design studio based in Long Beach, CA, specializing in hand-printed event stationery, as well as Greek-inspired home goods, stickers, and art prints, spoke with The National Herald about her company’s latest gift options, candles in enchanting aromas that will transport you to Greece. Karatzis told TNH that the new candles are launching this Wednesday, November 18 at cartoulespress.com/shop.

She described the candles as follows:

Ξαστεριά / Starry Night:

Infused with natural essential oils, including cedarwood and pine this punchy and bright scent features top notes of Cypress and Moss followed by notes of Spruce, Pine and Cedar. With just a touch of cinnamon, it captures the spirit of the holidays, and an enchanting winter night under the stars.

Πίστη, Ελπίδα, Αγάπη / Faith, Hope, Love:

Fresh, herby, and bright. Basil smells exactly like a handful picked straight from your garden. This clean, aromatic, and invigorating scent is uplifting and grounding. A perfect scent for ringing in the New Year with faith, hope, and love. It's what we all need!

Το Zαχαροπλαστείο / The Greek Sweet Shop:

Like walking into a traditional Greek sweet shop, this dessert scent has top notes of freshly grated cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove followed by notes of a nutty, flaky crust, caramelized sugar, buttery vanilla, and sweet honey.

Karatzis also shared the candle details:

* 9 oz of hand-poured, 100% scented soy wax, produced in small batches by The Everything’s Fine Co.

* Approximately 60 hours of clean burn time free of chemicals or dyes.

* Letterpress printed labels with hand-drawn typography on premium cotton paper by Cartoules Press.

* Μatchbox included with each candle.

* All candles include a lid and kraft gift box for easy gifting!
