Neptune Diner Featured in Ad Thanking Healthcare Heroes

ASTORIA – Neptune Diner, a staple in Astoria, is featured in a recent commercial thanking healthcare workers for their heroic efforts during the pandemic. The ad by Montefiore Health System is titled State of Gratitude: A Tribute to the Healthcare Heroes Saving New York. The iconic Greek diner appears at about the 45 second mark in the commercial.

As noted in the YouTube description, “Starting in the spring of 2020, every evening at 7 PM, New Yorkers clapped, cheered and banged pots and pans in support of the healthcare workers fighting to save lives. This holiday season, in tribute to their bravery and resilience, we brought together the #OrchestraoftheBronx, @EveryVoiceChoirs, Brooklyn United Music & Arts Program (@bkunitedmb), and New Yorkers to show our gratitude to the healthcare heroes saving New York. Special thanks to @NatalieMerchant whose song—‘Kind and Generous’—is the inspirational backbone of our State of Gratitude tribute #MontefioreEinstein #StateOfGratitude #7PMTribute #HealthcareHeroes #Montefiore #MonteHeroes.”
