Naxos and Small Cyclades Attract the Interest at WTM Virtual 2020

ATHENS — The Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades participated in the largest international tourism fair in the world, WTM Virtual 2020, attracting the interest of foreign markets.

From November 9 to 11, according to a relevant announcement, a number of meetings took place after extensive preparation in collaboration with the specialised marketing consulting company of the municipality.

In the presence of the deputy mayor of Tourism Vangelis Katsaras, "one to one" briefings and presentations of destinations, special forms of tourism, tourist services, history, monuments and traditions, gastronomy and natural attractions took place.

Tour operators from the USA, UK, Brazil and Australia showed strong interest. In addition, popular bloggers and journalists working with media such as CNN travel, National Geographic of Spain and Switzerland's largest travel magazine have also expressed interest in visiting the islands.
