Moving Forward with AHEPA Brooklyn Chapter 41

BROOKLYN, NY – AHEPA Chapter 41 held its monthly meeting on August 5 virtually via Zoom due to the COVID pandemic. On the agenda was the discussion of cigar night in September and the Tenth Annual Combined Golf Outing in October which supports all of the Greek communities in Brooklyn. Among those in attendance was District 6 Secretary Chris Pappis.

The Chapter has held weekly virtual meetings since the very beginning of the New York quarantine. In this way, members kept in touch and shared information on all issues related to the pandemic. They also hosted guest speakers including experts to address questions about economic, legal, local government, health and safety issues.

Chapter 41 is the home chapter of Past District 6 Governor Peter Vasilakos. The newly elected officers for 2020-2021 are President John Liodakis, Vice President Stavros (Steve) Doukas, Secretary Spyros Loukakos, and Treasurer Peter Kontopirakis.
