More than 6 Million Euros’ Worth of Cocaine Seized at Piraeus

ATHENS – The Hellenic Police on Tuesday announced the discovery of 173.45 kilos of cocaine, with an estimated street value of six million euros, hidden inside a special compartment within a refrigerated container which had arrived in Piraeus port from Africa.

The case is being investigated by the Attica Security Police narcotics department, in collaboration with the DEA office of the U.S. Embassy in Athens.
