Mitsotakis speaks with US Secretary of State Blinken, Senator Menendez

ATHENS – Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke successively by phone with US State Secretary Antony Blinken and Senator Robert (Bob) Menendez, chairman of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee, on Monday.

They discussed Greek-United States relations and developments in the region, and confirmed the strength of the relationship between the two countries.

In a tweet, Blinken said he spoke with Mitsotakis “about the critical role that Greece plays in promoting security and stability in Europe,” adding, “Together we are committed to supporting our NATO Allies and partners.”
