Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS — "Fifty-four years after the coup of April 21, democracy is consolidating and expanding. And, on the road to Europe, Greece is changing, progressing, modernising. Fifty-four years later, we remember and we fight," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis posted on Twitter on Wednesday, on the sombre anniversary of the military coup of April 21, 1967, which established a seven-year military junta that was finally toppled in 1974.
