Mitsotakis: A Stable Government is a Condition of Prosperity for Greek Society

RETHYMNO – Νew Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday stressed the need to maintain the high percentages of the party in the repeat elections on June 25 during the second day of his tour of the island of Crete.

He thanked the citizens of Rethymno, who supported the New Democracy programme and his candidacy, and promised that he would continue to stand by farmers by supporting the primary sector.

Addressing New Democracy voters, he asked that there be no complacency, stressing that nothing has been decided yet and that everything was “starting from the scratch” for the June 25 elections, so that ND can be victorious once again. He also promised that time will be found to organise a big celebration at Psiloritis and referred to a New York Times article which highlighted the activities one can do on Crete and on Psiloritis, in particular, saying that it was the best tourist destination in the spring.

“The main issue of this elections is how we will continue on the current path and how we will have a stable government for the next four years, which will be able to implement everything that I have told you,” Mitsotakis stressed adding that a stable government is a condition of prosperity for the Greek society.
