Mitarachi in Brussels to Meet EU Parliament President Metsola

BRUSSELS – Μigration and Asylum Μinister Notis Mitarachi is going to Brussels on Wednesday, March 2, where he will have a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.

Mitarachi will also attend a working dinner of the Ministers of Home Affairs of the European People’s Party.

On Thursday, March 3, the Minister for Migration and Asylum will take part in the EU Council of Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs, focusing on the situation in Ukraine, the ways to handle the influx of refugees into Member States, the governance of the area Schengen, as well as the negotiations of the European Migration and Asylum Pact.
