Metropolitan Apostolos’ Name Day Celebrated in New Jersey

PARAMUS, NJ – Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey celebrated his name day at the parish of Saint Athanasios in Paramus, NJ before departing for the Clergy-Laity Congress of the Archdiocese in San Diego, CA.

He presided over the Great Festal Vespers, in which over thirty priests participated from across the Metropolis, including Baltimore, Philadelphia, and others near and far.

In his speech, Metropolitan Apostolos thanked the clergy and laity for all they do for the Church in general and the Metropolis of New Jersey. He expressed his wishes and love to the members of the Metropolis’ communities and asked the priests and lay members to pray for his archieratical ministry.

After the Vespers, a dinner was offered in honor of Metropolitan Apostolos by the parish of Saint Athanasios in Paramus, together with the members of the Pan-Gregorian Association of New Jersey.
